Welcome to the 2026-27 season of evening Street Orienteering Races, each on a Tuesday evening. These are friendly, easy events open to everyone and based across Staffordshire. You have to find as many controls as you can in a set time – race, run or walk as you wish! Details about the full series are here: WCH Street Orienteering Series 2026-7
Club members £3, non-members £6 – to cover the printing of the map and the levy we pay to British Orienteering.

The pub car park is small (max. 12 cars). There is also some on-street car parking immediately outside the pub, on either side of the bridge, plus a small parade of shops on Wharf Road, ca. 100m before the pub, which should have spaces available in the evening. In return for allowing us to use the car park and toilets etc, it would be appreciated if some of our runners would give the pub some custom… It is a small, traditional pub; food is available – mainly bar snacks – but there is a home darts match on, so chip butties will apparently be on the menu!
The map will be the same as the one used in February, but the start is in the SW sector, so runners will have more opportunity than last time to explore the canal and disused railway line.
