SUMMARY:Night Owl Street Orienteering - Gnosall - Boat Inn\, Gnosall - 22 S
 ep 26 18:30
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the 2026-27 season of evening Street Orienteering Ra
ces\, each on a Tuesday evening. These are friendly\, easy events open to
everyone and based across Staffordshire.  You have to find as many contro
ls as you can in a set time – race\, run or walk as you wish!  Details
about the full series are here: WCH Street Orienteering Series 2026-7\nClu
b members £3\, non-members £6 - to cover the printing of the map and the
levy we pay to British Orienteering.\n\nTonight's details are as follows:
 \nThe start\, finish and parking is at The Boat Inn\, Gnosall\,  ST20 0DA
.  Google Maps: here What3Words: dust.burglars.saddens\n\nThe pub car par
k is small (max. 12 cars).  There is also some on-street car parking imme
diately outside the pub\, on either side of the bridge\, plus a small para
de of shops on Wharf Road\, ca. 100m before the pub\, which should have sp
aces available in the evening.  In return for allowing us to use the car
park and toilets etc\, it would be appreciated if some of our runners woul
d give the pub some custom… It is a small\, traditional pub\;  food is
available - mainly bar snacks - but there is a home darts match on\, so ch
ip butties will apparently be on the menu!\nThe map will be the same as th
e one used in February\, but the start is in the SW sector\, so runners wi
ll have more opportunity than last time to explore the canal and disused r
ailway line.\n\nPlease let us know you will be coming so that we can print
enough maps. Either using Spond (if you are a club member) or via waltonc
hasersevents@gmail.com.\nAlso\, download the event to your phone before yo
u arrive (if possible).  Find it in MapRun/UK/Staffordshire/2026/Night Ow
 l. The PIN will be provided on the night.
