Huge congratulations to Fraser and Jonah for their Junior Regional Orienteering Squads (JROS) selections to Summer training camps in Deeside and Czechia respectively. This is a fantastic achievement and testament to their hard work training for the selection races.
The British Champs were held in the Lake District on a fantastic sunny weekend. The individual champs were in Grizedale Forest, and was seriously challenging orienteering! The annual JK festival took place over the Easter weekend, this year in South Yorkshire. Friday was a sprint race in Sheffield City Centre and was quite a spectacle finishing in the Peace Gardens. 7 Chasers travelled to Sussex at the weekend to compete in the British Middle Distance Championships. This year, it was held at Holmbush & Buchan Country Park in West Sussex. We had one podium place, Iain Stamp, who was 3rd in the M45 class, only 1 min 17 behind top spot – well done Iain!
