West Midland Relays 2025
Last weekend, OD organised the annual WM Relays, this year at Pooley Fields, Tamworth. Stand-out performance was the Women’s Open team of Claire, Jenny and Olivia who won their class convincingly. Well done ladies!

22 Chasers headed to South Gare, near Redcar for the final of the annual inter-club competition, the CompassSport Trophy. It’s a great inclusive competition where everyone either scores, or reduces the scores of other teams. The Midland Champs took place at the weekend on the open moorland of Chinley Churn, near Hayfield in Derbyshire. Chasers now have 4 Midland champions, with Jonah (M16), James (M35), Carol (W65) and Hazel (W70). Well done all!
The British Sprint Champs weekend took place in East Anglia this year. Chasers had 3 teams running in the relays which were held at RAF Honington. Some great runs were had by our Elite, Veteran, and Super-Vet teams. The annual Peel Pursuit Race was held from the top end of Brocton Coppice this year, organised by Adam. Congratulations to Handicap winner John, fastest runner Sam, and defending her Junior trophy, Emily. We all enjoyed an evening in a sunny clearing on the Chase, followed by a picnic.
