Your handicap will be calculated by Club Captain, Kelvin Dawson, based on his knowledge of your abilities. Everyone is given a handicap time and there is a Winner trophy and Handicap trophy for each class. The person who is awarded the Winner trophy is not eligible to receive the Handicap trophy as well. The event is open to all WCH club members. You can run your own age class or you can run up – in both cases you are competitive. Or, if you prefer you can choose an easier course to enjoy the event on a non-competitive basis.
Shoal Hill Tavern: You may want to go to the Shoal Hill Tavern after your run for refreshments or a Sunday Lunch. They open at 12 noon and here is a link to their website to help you decide www.shoalhill.co.uk
