Well done to Walton High School Year 7 orienteers who won the Stafford Borough Junior Sports Team of the year in recognition of their victory at the British Schools Orienteering Championships last November. The counters on the day were Megan Colclough, Isobel Phillips & Megan Dale and Laura Shermer & Lauren Currie, but also in the team were Olivia Bonney & Leah Hollins, with Amy Mitchell unable to run with a broken arm.
Megan Colclough also made it through the shortlist to the final 4 for Junior Sports Performer of the year after her victory at the British Schools Championships, but lost out to a well-deserving sailor.
