Mansty Wood access concern

BluebellWoodFollowing the race at Mansty on Sunday, the organising team heard from the gamekeeper that an individual was found on the area on Friday. On questioning, he said he was coming to the event on Sunday and was just having a look around.  This raises 2 concerns for us:
1 – it is against the spirit of competition to go on to the area before an event, and
2 – this woodland is privately owned.  The person crossed both a barbed wire fence and walked directly past a sign saying ‘Private Woodland – Keep Out’, and these actions could have jeopardised our future use of the area.
If the person concerned reads these comments, please be conscious of the impact your actions could have for our sport, respect private property, and be more considerate in the future.
