Walton Chasers Orienteering Club have a number of orienteering opportunities coming up on different areas of Cannock Chase over the next two months. These are open to all but are especially good for those who love being outdoors and love exploring.
The dates are on the flyer attached. There will be dedicated helpers to guide anyone new to orienteering through the whole process from registration, starting, finishing, checking results and to wave you off on your way home. For juniors, it is recommended youngsters go around in pairs initially or with a parent to share the experience and build confidence exploring Cannock Chase.
If you want to know more about orienteering before turning up to an event, we have an Introductory evening at Milford Hall Cricket Club on Tuesday 25th November at 7pm. This is to run through what to expect from arrival at an event to when you leave, with top tips from the Clubs most experienced orienteers. A great chance to find out more and ask questions without having to actually orienteer!”
