Last week, 17 Chasers headed to Scotland to compete in Royal Deeside 2017, the Scottish 6-day biannual event. The
week’s competition started with 3 days near Aboyne, followed by 3 days near Braemar. The areas were suitably challenging and the weather kind, and with a club start block day, it was a great social week too. Best performances of the week were by John Robinson, overall 4th on M65s, with a win on Day 1, and honourable mentions for Dan Findlay-Robinson 3rd on M35S with wins on days 1 and 5 (running for SLOW), and to Jonathan Howell for an excellent 9th on the final day in M65L. We had a club get together in Braemar on Day 4 with plenty of coffee and cake for Chasers and friends. Looking forward to Strathearn 2019!
