17 Chasers headed to Deeside in Scotland for the biennial Scottish 6-days competition which hosted 2500 competitors. This comprised 3 terrain races, then a rest day (which had the option of a sprint race and/or MTBO race), followed by 2 final terrain days, with the 3 best scores to count in the overall positions. We were blessed by dry and warm weather and had a great week. Top performers were Iain (8th M45L) and Dan (4th M40S) – in the top ten overall is a great result. Others with individual days within the top 10 were Jonah, Andy, Ray, John and Alison. Always a really sociable festival of orienteering and a great holiday – see you in Perthshire in 2027…
