The annual Peel Pursuit Race was held from the top end of Brocton Coppice this year, organised by Adam. Congratulations to Handicap winner John, fastest runner Sam, and defending her Junior trophy, Emily. We all enjoyed an evening in a sunny clearing on the Chase, followed by a picnic.

The final race of the 2024-25 street-O series took place this week. It was tight at the top, and the leaders from last week were both pipped to the overall win. Results available here Congratulations to Harlequins Orienteering Club on the win. The Trophy is awarded to the club winning a 60-minute score event held every New Year’s Day in memory of Laurie Bradley, one of the pioneers of orienteering in the region and organised by WMOA clubs in turn.
Saturday saw the annual Mungo Bone handicap race, named after Mungo Bone, the long-departed dog who found the antlers that now make up the trophy. A great turnout for the run and more for the social afterwards. Anne won the handicap race, and Oscar was the fastest runner. Full results here:
