Saturday saw the annual Mungo Bone handicap race, named after Mungo Bone, the long-departed dog who found the antlers that now make up the trophy. A great turnout for the run and more for the social afterwards. Anne won the handicap race, and Oscar was the fastest runner. Full results here:
Sunday 24th November will see a return to Oldacre and South Sherbrook on Cannock Chase for our regional event. White, Yellow, Orange, Long Orange, Light Green, Short Green, Green, Blue, Brown course will be available, so there is something for everyone from the total beginner to the most experienced orienteer. Sunday saw more than half the club membership up in Lancashire to represent Chasers at the annual inter-club Compass Sport Trophy final.
