“Pats on the back” this week go to three of our younger members following the POTOC event in Stone where on the Easy course Fraser Stamp came home in first place closely followed by his sister, Olivia, while in 3rd place was Charlotte Dawson. All we need now is a junior coach for these three and our other juniors. Could you help out?
On the Short Hard course Cath Williams came in in 3rd place while on the Long Hard Course Sam Naylor ran into 4th place, Catherine Bushnell came 6th and I came 8th. Other good runs were had by Claire Bushnell (12th), Christine Collins (13th) and Carol Dredge (14th).
Over at the OD Charity Event Andy Yeates ran into 14th place and Dougie Craig came 32nd.
The only event next weekend is the West Midland Relay Championships at Shoal Hill. Our teams are entered now but the organiser, Sue Williams, would love to hear from you with your offer to help.
