51 Chasers competed in a fantastic weekend in the Lake District at JK 2015. After a Sprint around Lancaster University, we were treated to 2 tough days in the complex Lakes terrain, finished off by a relay in lovely Graythwaite. While there were some epic times, it was a great challenge, helped on the terrain days by excellent weather. Cath organised accommodation at Coniston Youth Hostel which was much appreciated.
Top 5 performances came from a select few: 1st place for Stodge on M40S, 3rd for Amy on W14B and Cath on W40S, 4th for Norman on M80 and Charlotte on W14B, and 5th for Claire on W35S and Beth on W50L.
We can do it all again in a fortnight at the British Champs! To keep your eye in, there’s a WRE Sprint event next Saturday, followed by a HOC Colour Coded on Kinver Edge on Sunday.
