Following a call for ideas made to the juniors by their rep, Holly, the concept of a “yellow jersey” t-shirt was formed to be awarded for an impressive performance at a nominated event. The first event was the Stafford urban race on Sunday, and the (more of a green jersey) t-shirt was awarded to George H at training tonight for managing to complete his course without mispunching or retiring, even though he had (somehow) ended up with a longer, harder course than his age group were running, and he didn’t come last 🙂 He even managed to model the t-shirt for the second half of training.
The next nominated event will be the British Schools Champs on 16th November
