The British Champs were held over the weekend in a sunny and warm Northumberland. A great weekend of contrasting terrain – (very) challenging forest for the individual followed by fast open moorland for the relays.
There were some huge times on the Saturday – good effort for finishing for most, and just 5 Chasers got into the top 3 – Beth Colclough 2nd on W10B, Milly Holland 1st on W14B, Holly Hughes 2nd on W16B, Alison Yeates 1st on W45S, and Norman Hall 3rd on M80.
The relay day showed that the training for relays has paid off, and we had 2 junior teams on the podium – well done Alfie, Holly S & Joe 3rd in the mini-relay and Matt, Gemma and Meg 3rd in the Junior Ad Hoc.
