**If I don’t get any more positive responses by Tuesday, 5th February, I will have to re-schedule the weekend as the numbers will not make it viable**
A whole club training weekend has been organised for the 22nd – 24th February (last weekend of the half term holiday). The weekend is open to all ages, abilities and levels of experience, but will be particularly useful for anyone running JK/BOC.
Accommodation is at Forge Lodge, Runways End scout camp near Farnborough. It’s a self-catering lodge with 4-bedded bedrooms, all en-suite, with excellent facilities (the British squad stayed there a few weeks ago for a training weekend, too).
Training on the Saturday is on Frith & Windmill Hill, a night exercise is planned around the scout camp, and on the Sunday, Happy Herts are putting on a badge event on Burnham Beeches, a fantastic area with terrain similar to both BOC & JK.
There is also the option of training on Kingswood, just outside High Wycombe, on the way down on Friday afternoon, which will depend on how many are interested & able to join in.
Cost will depend on numbers, but if we get more than 20 people going, accommodation will be £30 a head for the weekend, plus food.
