The next junior training camp will take place on the Monday & Tuesday of half term (29 & 30 October). We will be staying in Walesby scout camp http://www.walesbyforest.org.uk/, in one of the lodges that sleeps 28. We’ll be training on Walesby on the Monday, with the opportunity for night O on Monday night. On Tuesday we have access to Clumber Park, a National Trust area that has previously been used for the British Champs.
The camp is open to all juniors with a minimum standard of being able to complete a white course independently, with Cath, Kelvin & Jo as coaches. There will be sleeping space for other family members, but it’s not compulsory for parents to come along.
The cost of the weekend will depend on numbers. The Lodge is £300, so the more we have, the cheaper it will be. We’ll do pizza for dinner on SMonday night & provide breakfast & food to make a packed lunch on Tuesday.
