Saturday saw the annual footpath relay in the Peak’s. This year was based by Carsington Reservoir near Ashbourne and a team of 11 runners completing 10 legs did us proud. Overall we were in 5th position (only 30 seconds down on 4th) and we placed 3rd in the handicap race. An overall time of just over 10 hours running through somewhat unseasonable weather showed Chasers’ dedication! Best runs of the day went to Andy Yeates and Daniel Findlay-Robinson who were both 2nd fastest on their legs. Full results are on the DVO website – full report in the next Attack Point.
