While a number of Chasers headed north to Scotland to compete in JK over the Easter weekend, others headed south, crossing the Channel & spending the weekend on the Ile d’Oleron on the west coast of France.
The 3 days of orienteering here comprised a sprint, long & middle race in forested sand dunes.
The juniors did us proud, coming back with a sackful of trophies: Holly C won D10 in the sprint & middle race, Holly S was second in all 3 races & Heather had a victory in the sprint race & 2 seconds in the middle & classic races.
The seniors had mixed results, but a great experience, and a good time was had by all.
