12 Chasers made the trip to Gothenburg, Sweden for the annual O-Ringen competition, the largest orienteering event in the world each year. This year, there were some 15,000 runners from all over the world. We were treated to some fantastic technical terrain in 5 days in the forest and the sun shone which made for an excellent week’s holiday. We also gave the 2 fiendishly difficult indoor races a go – one in an underground aerospace museum, and another in a college building – a lot of head scratching, but great fun! Next year is based around Stockholm.
