The annual Peel Pursuit Handicap Race will take place on Tuesday 14th July, from Milford Hall Cricket Club. The new route is here: Peel_Pursuit_Route_2026
Some last minute points from Iain:
1. The course will be marked with flour arrows on the ground at the main junctions and will have red and white tapes along the route.
2. I will be marking the route after work and hope to have it complete by 6:30pm.
3. First start is at 7:00pm.
4. Park at the cricket club and walk over, leave at around 6:40pm to be on time or park on one of the carparks close to the start.
5. Gather at start for club photo at 6:55pm.
6. Last finisher should be around 7:35.
7. The BBQ will be back at the Cricket Club and the bar will be open.
8. Bring your food for the BBQ and be prepared to cook it. Please don’t bring your own drinks (other than water bottles), we generously get use of the Cricket Club facilities for free so we can support their club through the takings from the bar.
8. Small prize giving at around 8:15pm (subject to collecting in course tapes).
