Sorry for the delay in getting these up but the winners and handicap winners are listed below my planners comments which I promise are brief and I wont get on my soapbox…..
Firstly thanks to everyone who helped particularly Doug and Ianka for trying to organise me and get me to do things on time. Thanks to Sarah for helping Doug check the controls this morning and thanks to all who helped collect controls this afternoon. Thanks to the Stodgells for all their assistance and finally thanks to Carley for putting up with my constant obsession with getting this right ( and I almost did apart from the one control circle I should have cut in the north east corner). It may seem to people that I was planning at the last second but I started planning this in June!
My intention for the courses was always to aim for short fast courses with changes of direction (basically middle ish) due to the size of the area. Winning times on most courses were pretty spot on to what I expected which was nice. Stodges idea of a run in competition was an excellent one and this should be something we definitely continue. It was a very close run thing with Sam winning the mens and Jo the womens.
