Yorkshire was host to the British Middle Distance Champs on Danefield (Otley) and the Northern Champs (Kilnsey) over the weekend. Danefield was steep and tricky with huge boulders, but an excellent technical area for a championships. 13 Chasers competed, with some great runs. Top 15 places went to Ray (12th M65), Fraser (12th M14) and Jonah (15th M16).
The following day, 10 Chasers stayed for the Northern Champs on the moorland of Kilnsey. After a wet and windy start, the weather improved and we saw Kilnsey at it’s best, with challenging long legs across the moor and limestone pavements. Top 10 places were achieved by Stodge (2nd M50S), Claire (W40S), Fraser (4th M14A), Tracy (4th W55S), Andy (7th M60S), and Alison (9th W55S).
