DESCRIPTION:Annual Peel Pursuit handicap race\, followed by the club BBQ. 
  Route map here: Peel Pursuit 2017.\n\nThe grid reference for the start 
 is SJ975194.  The Pursuit route will be taped but people are encouraged t
 o recce the route in advance. The senior 4 km course is the same as last 
 year.  The junior course is 1.9 km and this goes up the path from the jun
 ction that's SE of the corner of Brook Lane.\n\nFirst starters off at 7 pm
  plus any handicap times. Please let Jonathan Howell know if you plan to r
 un so that handicap times can be allotted.  Please either phone or mail 
 chairman@walton-chasers.co.uk. We need to know in advance if  there are a
 ny juniors wanting to do the short course so that marshals can be arranged
 .\n\nThe barbecue is at The Orchard just past the steep part of Chase Road
 \, Brocton and down a small track to the left of the Woodlands.\n\nThere i
 s parking at various points.  There is a small lay-by to the right opposi
 te the entrance to the track to The Orchard.  There is a track immediatel
 y parallel to Chase Road\, which can be used.  Farther up Chase Road is t
 he entrance to the old quarry on the left\, or Beau Vista car park on the 
 right\, which is a short walk.  The start can be accessed from the track 
 to the left just above Brocton nursery or across the small valley from the
  back of The Orchard.
