Controllers Comments.

This event was very easy to control. I only saw courses close to the event but mark had planned well and we only adjusted one control. I received favourable comments from many competitors and I think most enjoyed the mix of forest and park.

        I hope you enjoyed your day out.

Planners Comments.


Living 600m from the event, having the club laser printer in my office and my wife looking after the SI kit made planning easier than normal.

Many thanks to Jane for sorting the permissions and the removal of the cows you didnt have to experience, to Jim for the styles and rabbit hutch, to Doug, Mark and Ray my putter outers and to Ian,Ian, Clare, Diana, Simon, Steph and Neil for taking them all in again.
Thanks also go to Alan Hartley who updated the map and ran the SI for me.

Hope you enjoyed the courses and the contrast between the parkland and the forest.

When WaltonChasers chose Shugborough Park & Satnall Hills for an event I
thought what a fantastic location The park is beautiful especially in the
Autumn The weather was ideal cool & dry in the morning & sunny in the
afternoon Perfect for getting all the tents down A really big thank you to
everyone who helped beforehand & on the day Its so easy having team leaders
-it makes the life of the organiser a relatively stressfree one!! Thanks
must go also to the staff at Shugborough Hall for with out their support we
would not have been able to hold the event .

Congratulations to OD & HOC for qualifying !! Good luck in the next event
