Controllers Comments.
Thanks to Chris and everyone in the organising teams who made the day run so smoothly. Also a big thanks to Alan Hartley for his new software, which seems to have performed very well at its first full trial.
I was very pleased with Emily’s courses; the comments at download and on nopesport were very positive, which is great encouragement for her first event. Thanks also to Cath Williams for getting her started on the right track, I had to suggest very little adjustment to her courses.
Finally please comment, as many already have, about the control codes being printed on the map. Whilst we realise not all events could use this format, it can be very useful when you are familiar with this presentation.

First of all a huge thanks to everyone that helped, Chris for an awesome job of organising, Mark who was more than a controller, Cath Williams for everything, from getting me started to printing off all those maps, Stodge, Alan and co. on download thankyou, super quick and amazing (and for sorting out the descriptions Stodge). Also a big thanks to everyone that help set out and collect in controls on the day - Chris, Ian, Rob and Matt!
Thanks to everyone that came and for all the comments - lots of postive feedback!
I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did!

Organisers Comments.
As usual, thanks for coming. We had a good turn-out for one of the first events of the season and I hope everybody enjoyed their run on Emily’s courses, even though the heather was a bit fierce in places. With the team system that the club operates, the organiser’s job is easy and is almost reduced to a few phone calls a couple of months before the day. Almost. A big thank you to the team leaders and their teams for helping the event to run so smoothly. Thanks also to Stodge for getting the results up on the web so quickly. They were up by half past two on the day, which is pretty impressive.
