Bike training

Postby Stodge » Thu Dec 28, 2006 5:10 pm

Anyone else up for either road or MTB training rides.
I currently go out on a Mon night with a group from Mammoth. (2hrs - 30 miles hard, not for MTBs or beginner bikers)

Anyone want to join me on a Thursday Night ?

Road Training Rides

Postby G » Fri Mar 16, 2007 12:08 am

I'll be in Stafford during April sometime, keen to go road biking, have been riding few times each week in the peaks (hills!) since end of Feb, so not up to mammoth standard but still game for 2~3 hour rides

G,

I am am avid fan of the SHUOC message board and know for sure that you DO know about life beyond your next meal.

Vis articles such as:
BUSA Fancy Dress
Dragons Den... free crisps and wine
Social?
Next social
Boxer Shorts
Union Beer Fest
Drunken Front Crawl

I sense a theme.....

Meanwhile, Big Man Little features under such headings as:

SHUOC Fell Race
Edale Skyline
Run Tomorrow
Intervals

Setting such a good example for young G....

.... to no avail!

haha easily explained, im the Social sec. and have been injured, so not been on a decent run since last summer.

Wont be going to the MTBO, clashes with BUSA where I will be playing an important part in the ShUOC team.

So it's streak-O thru the cemetry back to the accommodation block, trying not to be seen/heard by the police who are chatting to your friends who jumped out of the undergrowth just ahead of you

Referring to your other posting re Orienteering Videos, is it safe to assume (for the guilty parties) that there is no video evidence of said streak-o?!
