Planners comments

I hope you enjoyed Abraham's Valley despite the mud. Unfortunately the wet conditions extended my winning times somewhat so I apologise to those who found it a bit too long. The area is a great area for mountain biking but so riddled with bridleways many areas didn't have much choice in them, but some areas particularly the maze of small tracks and re-entrants in the SE of the area are fantastic for MTBO so I hope you enjoyed these.

Alan Hartley, SPLOT

Organiser / Co-Ordinators Comments
Thankyou to all who came, despite being on the last shopping weekend before xmas.
We have two MTBOs in April and March plus the Chase Challenge / National MTBO champs in June next year. Our aim is to try and get MTBO in the UK really going in the coming year. If you are interested in getting your Orienteering Club to put on an MTBO please get in touch. Between The TCA and WCH Im sure we can give you all the support and advice you need.

Thanks to Alan Hartley for some great courses, and to Helen Smith for putting out and collecting in all those bridleway crossing signs. Thanks also to those chasers who helped on the day.

If you came in the top 3 on each course please email me your address so we can post you your prize.

Thanks again

Mark Stodgell, WCH
